Community Caring for Community – Including Our Pets! 🐾❤️
At Healing Tampa Bay, we know that pets are family. That's why we're proud to provide not only food assistance for individuals and families, but also pet food to help ensure our furry companions are cared for too.

This week, thanks to generous donations and community support, we were able to distribute bread, pantry staples, snacks, beverages, household supplies, and pet food to families in need. No one should have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their beloved pet.

Every bag of food, every loaf of bread, and every bag of pet food represents hope, compassion, and neighbors helping neighbors.

We are grateful to our volunteers, donors, and community partners who make these distributions possible. Together, we're helping families stay nourished and keeping pets happy, healthy, and at home with the people who love them.

Community Comes Together: Healing Tampa Bay and Sonic Drive-In Partner for a Successful Fundraiser
Healing Tampa Bay is proud to celebrate the success of our recent community fundraiser held in partnership with Sonic Drive-In.
This special event brought together local residents, supporters, volunteers, and community partners for an evening focused on giving back and helping those in need throughout Pasco and Pinellas Counties.

We want to extend our sincere appreciation to Sonic Drive-In for their outstanding support, generosity, and commitment to serving our community. Their partnership helped make this event possible and demonstrated what can be accomplished when local businesses and nonprofits work together toward a common goal.

Guests enjoyed an exciting raffle featuring gift baskets and prize packages for individuals and families, while learning more about the many services Healing Tampa Bay provides throughout the year.
The event also served as an opportunity to connect community members with resources including SNAP enrollment assistance, Medicaid applications and recertifications, health insurance guidance, food assistance, housing referrals, free government cell phones, and other supportive services.

Funds raised from this event will directly support Healing Tampa Bay's mission of helping individuals and families facing food insecurity, financial hardship, health care challenges, and other barriers to stability. Every dollar raised allows us to continue providing critical resources to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

We are especially grateful to the management and staff at Sonic Drive-In for opening their doors, promoting the event, and standing alongside us in support of local families. Community partnerships like this are essential to creating lasting change and ensuring that help remains available to those who need it most.
Thank you to everyone who attended, purchased raffle tickets, donated, volunteered, shared our event, and helped spread awareness of our mission. Your support enables Healing Tampa Bay to continue making a positive impact every day.

Community in Action: Nourishing Our Neighbors One Family at a time.

At Healing Tampa Bay, we believe no one in our community should have to choose between paying bills and putting food on the table.

This week, our food pantry was once again filled with fresh produce, dairy products, prepared meals, eggs, vegetables, and other nutritious essentials for local families facing difficult times. Thanks to the support of our volunteers, donors, community partners, and dedicated staff, dozens of individuals and families were able to leave with healthy food and the peace of mind that comes from knowing their community cares.

From fresh potatoes, onions, squash, zucchini, tomatoes, citrus fruits, eggs, milk, and prepared meals, every item distributed represents more than just food—it represents hope, dignity, and support during challenging times.

What makes our pantry special is that it is about more than food. Every day, we connect community members with resources including SNAP benefits, Medicaid assistance, health insurance enrollment, free government cell phones, clothing assistance, housing resources, and referrals to other vital services. Our goal is to meet people where they are and help them move toward greater stability and self-sufficiency.

We are incredibly grateful to our volunteers and community partners who continue to make this work possible.

🚲 Another Life Changed Through Community Kindness 💙

Today, we had the privilege of helping a wonderful member of our community who was in need of reliable transportation. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and community partners, we were able to provide her with a free bicycle.

Something as simple as a bike can mean so much. It can provide transportation to work, medical appointments, the grocery store, and access to the resources needed to build a better future. It represents independence, opportunity, and hope.

At Healing Tampa Bay, we believe that sometimes the smallest acts of kindness can have the biggest impact. Whether it's food assistance, clothing, health insurance support, or helping someone with transportation, we are committed to serving our neighbors with dignity and compassion.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donates, volunteers, and supports our mission. Because of you, moments like this are possible.

Every week, we are reminded that a community is strongest when neighbors help neighbors.

Our food pantry continues to grow because of the generosity of our donors, volunteers, community partners, and the incredible people who believe that no family should have to choose between paying bills and putting food on the table.

Today, our office was filled with families, seniors, veterans, and individuals working hard to build a better future. Along with providing nutritious food, our team was able to connect people with resources such as SNAP benefits, Medicaid assistance, health insurance options, and other support services that help create long-term stability.

At Healing Tampa Bay, we believe that a food pantry is about more than groceries—it's about restoring hope, treating every person with dignity, and letting our community know they are not alone.
