Graduating High School and saying goodbye to teachers, coaches, and going separate ways from close friends. That’s definitely the case for Platte County MO’s PFC Paige Chase.

The memories will always remain and the next step in life is about to happen. PFC Chase has definitely set herself up for future success on our team. She went to boot camp last summer and will attend her job training as a Supply Specialist this summer and then head off to college at Northwest where the Guard will pay her tuition while she pursues a degree in education. Thank you for your willingness and motivation to serve💪🏼😎🇺🇸

What are RSP Drills? 👀
RSP Drill Weekends consist of Basic Combat Training preparation that give our soldiers a headstart in their Army National Guard career. RSP soldiers consists of people who have sworn into the Army National Guard and are awaiting their Basic Combat Training ship out date, soldiers that joined under out Split-Ops program having completed Basic Combat Training and are awaiting their Advanced Individual Training to begin, as well as soldiers that have returned from training and are waiting to start their career with their assigned unit. These soldiers are paid monthly for their Drill Weekends while still in high school or tending to their civilian jobs, as well as ticking time off of their contracts from the moment they swear in.

Graduating High School is a scary start to the journey of the unknown right?
WRONG!

Take some advice from these 3 Malden High School seniors! They were proactive and made the right choice to raise their right hand and volunteer to serve part time with the MO Army National Guard for the start of their adult lives!

PVT Anthony Simpson and PV2 Makayla Walker both enlisted to be Military Police officers 31B’s and PV2 Crystal Allen enlisted as an Automated Logistical Specialist 92A.
Their path to a highly successful future has been set in motion, their hard work will pay off with up to 100% of their tuition being paid for in college/tech school, earning $500+ a month in their pocket, and a huge network of possibilities throughout their career!

Thank you PVT Simpson, PV2 Walker, and PV2 Allen for your willingness and motivation to serve! Our communities, state, and our country are better with you all serving!

Ever wonder what more you can do your junior year to prepare yourself more for your future?!

How about starting your career as a part time Soldier in the MO Army National Guard?!

That’s exactly what Liberty High School junior PV2 Hailey Davies decided to do! She has enlisted as a 31B under the Army National Guards Split Training Option STO. That will allow her to attend Basic Combat Training in between here junior and senior year (this summer). After BCT she’ll return to finish her senior year of High School and then head to her Military Police school. By the time she finishes her initial entry training she will have 18+ months completed on her 6 year commitment to the Guard and will be able to enjoy the education benefits to get to college so much faster!

PV2 Davies, it takes a truly motivated individual to get started on their future like you have! There is no doubt you are doing what’s necessary to be the best. We are lucky to have you on our team, welcome to the family and thank you for your willingness and motivation to serve💪🏼😎🇺🇸
