Last year, our Regional Parks and Trails system welcomed 69.1 million visits, our second-highest on record! From rolling the 480+ miles of trails to exploring all there is to do across 58 parks and park reserves, there’s something for everyone in the parks.

Twin Cities residents – watch your mail for a letter about "Our Daily Trips." This letter invites you to participate in a regular survey of how your household travels from place to place. This project is a coordinated effort of the Metropolitan Council, Minnesota Department of Transportation, and Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

This survey is an important way you and your neighbors can help us understand how you and the members of your household use our region’s local roads, highways, public transit, bike lanes, and sidewalks to get from point A to point B and beyond.

A limited number of random households are chosen to participate, so if you get the letter in the mail, we hope you’ll take the time to participate.

2 Days Until Float Fest! 🛶

In just 2 days, we'll gather on and along the Mississippi River to celebrate one of the Twin Cities' greatest shared treasures.

Float Fest is possible because of organizations that share our belief that rivers should be places where everyone can connect and explore. Today, we're grateful to recognize the Metropolitan Council for sponsoring Float Fest and investing in clean water for future generations, parks, and trails that make experiences like this possible.

Whether you're paddling for the first time, spending the day at Graco Park, or reconnecting with a favorite stretch of the river, we hope you'll join us!
