Did you know the new gym addition was built with energy efficiency in mind?

Twenty-four skylights line the roof, positioned to bring natural light directly into the space. In current photos they are covered in protective plastic during construction. Once the deflection lenses are installed, they will provide enough natural light to support most daytime activities without turning on a single light switch. Simple design choices like this add up. Less energy used, more natural light for our students and staff.

🚧 There was a little extra excitement during Silent Dismissal on the first day of school!

Second graders had the chance to watch large pieces of the former sidewalk being moved as construction continued nearby. This year, they are looking forward to learning lots in the classroom while also watching the construction project take shape right outside their school!

It’s going to be a year full of learning, growth, and some pretty exciting changes! 🏗️📚✨
