Tonight, the People of Minneapolis are being awarded the JFK Profile in Courage Award—and there can be no doubt that they are deserving.

At the same time, the people of New Jersey are fighting the same fight at Delaney Hall. We stand strong with New Jersey.

What happened here in Minnesota was not unique, and we must stand unified against the violence targeting our immigrant communities.

To our friends in New Jersey: we are with you. We see you. We stand with you.

The Minnesota Young DFL has signed on to this open letter calling for Latonya Reeves to resign from her Party positions.

We respect Latonya Reeves’ right to run for office, but she must do so in accordance to the DFL’s Constitution, or face consequences.

For the first time, we are releasing candidate ratings alongside our endorsement for the State Auditor race.

We are impressed by Zack Filipovich as we are Ben Scheirer. They, in their own ways, have demonstrated a commitment to bold policies that uplift young Minnesotans.

As such, we will be awarding both Ben Scheirer and Zack Filipovich an A+ rating. These ratings reflect each candidate’s qualifications, preparedness for the office, & alignment with the priorities of young Democrats.

Ben Scheirer will remain our sole endorsed candidate.
