We appreciate when you keep our clean during your stay, especially since bears are especially active this time of year. June is when yearling bears are pushed away by mothers to find new territory. They eat ants and summer berries and any other easily accessible food sources as they learn to be on their own.

Thank you!

🥳Happy Birthday U.S. Army Corps of Engineers🎉

On June 16, 1775, as the British occupied Boston and the Continental Congress was organizing a unified Continental Army out of the colonial militias fighting the British, Congress authorized a Chief Engineer and two assistants for the new army.
