There really is nothing to truly prepare you for the loss of a friend... Tim Crear has been a huge part of Camp for the past 20+ years. Tim wore many hats as a volunteer at camp and always was ready to jump in and help wherever needed! Tim helped teach our campers about archery, riflery, and patriotism!

Anyone wishing to celebrate Tim is welcome. A Celebration of Tim's Life will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings. Immediately following, Military Honors will be provided by Hastings VFW Lyle Russell Post 1210.

Accepted volunteers and campers:
The deadline to complete your registration is 01 JUNE.

Your health profile should be 100% and your account balance should be zero. (See photo for an example)

✅ If your registration isn’t complete (including tuition payment) by the deadline, your accepted status will be cancelled and you’ll have to reapply to the waitlist.

🧐 Volunteers: please double check that your information is correct, complete and not expired (ex: driver's license is current, physician form is not blank or expired.)

👀Please read:

1. ALL applications enter a wait list once submitted. Updates and other communication are sent via email.

2. Health profiles need to be at 100% in order to move off the wait list.

3. New Volunteers: Please review the eligibility requirements listed on the camp website (mngyc.org) before applying.

4. Returning Volunteers: Please ensure all information in your profiles are current. Any expired documents should be removed and updated. (ex: driver's licenses and certificates)

5. Camp Physician Form: A sports physical, PHA or other physical performed by a licensed medical professional can be uploaded in place of the MNGYC Physician Form. It must be dated within 24 months of the start of camp. Due to HIPPA, camp does not keep these records. Please contact your medical provider if a copy is needed.

6. Campers will be able to apply to the wait list on March 01, 2026. Mark your calendars! 📆

Set up: July 23-25
Week 1: July 25-Aug 01
Week 2: Aug 01-Aug 08
Teardown: Aug 06-08

Fun Fact: The Minnesota National Guard Youth Camp is 100% volunteer run and all volunteers are MN National Guard Service Members (active or retired) and their families.
