Minnesota National Guard Youth Camp

Minnesota National Guard Youth Camp “Make A Difference In A Child’s Life!” Kids can talk with other kids about how deployments affect them and their families.

The MN National Guard Youth & Teen Camps provide a fun, safe and caring environment where children (ages 10-15) with connections to the MN National Guard, can enjoy outdoor activities while learning about patriotism, freedom, and our country. Camp runs for one week at at historic Camp Ripley near Little Falls, MN, where children are immersed in a location and community of other children and adults who understand the joys and challenges of being part of the “Guard family”. The Bradleys worked on their navigation and communication skills at Orienteering (Land Nav). They enjoyed the maze, where they helped a blindfolded camper get to the end of the maze with verbal commands. They explored the DNR building, learning about wildlife and their habitats at Camp Ripley. It appears they got a show from some Blackhawks training on the range while they were out for their water fight.
