Our Story – America’s 1st Volunteer Center

1919 - Established in Minneapolis as Volunteer Service Bureau

1942 - Volunteer Center of St. Paul volunteer centers combined into Volunteer Resource Center of the Twin Cities

2003 - Received George W. Romney Volunteer Center Excellence Award

2005 - Became HandsOn Twin Cities

2005 - Received Excellence Award from HandsOn Network

2007 - Points of Light & HandsOn Network merged, 240 national and 11 international HandsOn Action Centers
