Thanks to the Otto Bremer Trust's incredible $1 million philanthropic investment in LSS, we are one step closer to making the Center for Changing Lives Frogtown-Rondo a reality for our neighbors!

This upcoming $7.5 million Center for Changing Lives Frogtown-Rondo will transform our current building on University Avenue into a modern, multi-purpose hub offering comprehensive supportive services to children, youth and families. We anticipate the new center will serve 1,100 individuals every year.

The Otto Bremer Trust awarded this significant gift to LSS following a selective process focused on investing larger grants in projects managed by strategic partners. We are deeply grateful to the Otto Bremer Trust for their long-term support in investing in and strengthening communities across Minnesota.

On September 23rd, Danielle graduated from the StreetWorks Outreach Worker Certification Training and officially became a certified StreetWorks Outreach Worker!! Danielle (left) is pictured here on her graduation shift with her supervisor Blaine (right).

To become a Certified StreetWorks Outreach Worker, a trainee must go through 60+ hours of training, which includes classroom time, street shifts, and site visits to drop-in centers, food shelves and emergency shelters. To learn more about our training process, visit the link in bio.
