Ward 6 News: there's a layer of asphalt on the stretch of Payne Avenue between Prange and Wheelock.

It had been the only stretch of street that didn't have potholes and City of St Paul had to destroy it, while the nearby Edgerton and Wheelock Parkway really need a total resurface and reconstruction respectively.

A federal appeals court said Thursday an atheist group trying to keep the so-called Ground Zero Cross out of the National September 11 Memorial Museum must better explain how displaying the artifact is “offensive” and a violates members’ constitutional rights.

What if someone posted a defamatory video of you and your organization. Would you make them an admin of your FB page? We don't think so either.

When someone says "Point of order," during a meeting, the chair of the meeting has to recognize that person. Apparently some people don't know that.

One of the duties of being a SPRCC Chair is being a voice for the taxpayers at places where a lot of our money is being spent on things that aren't needed such as toys for school children, aka Ipads.

SPRCC Chair Greg Copeland stood up and told the St Paul Public Schools (SPPS) Board of Education (BOE), that ipads were never part of the discussion of the tech addition to the levy.

The St Paul Public School Board of Education voted to give Apple Ipads to all students in the school district on a 5-2 vote on June 24, 2014. Here is the article in it's entirety, we've turned off...

Someone asked about the availability of the documents that SPRCC has and if we have some sort of login, or gatekeeper in order to get the documents.

After a chuckle, we replied, who in a free society would do such a thing? Anyone can download our documents.

Republican Candidates missed out on a great opportunity to be at the Back to the 50's Car Show this weekend. There is one day left at the Car Show--Sunday (from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm). $10 for adults, $2 off discount tickets at NAPA auto stores.

Must have been well over 100,000 people there today. Unfortunately the MNGOP booth was closed.

CD4 Chair Jim Carson is barring access to the St Paul GOP delegate list to specific people who want to run for SPRCC Chair and Deputy Chair. Those people are ones that he hates and he makes up all sorts of accusations just to defame them. He had released the list to a few of his proxies that have tried to oust those people that Carson hates. These proxies had the list prior to the CD4 Convention was convened to consider a change in how SPRCC operates. These proxies were actually contacting people about their candidacy for the SPRCC Chair/ Deputy Chair prior to the convention. Now the CD4 Exec Committee is trying to force the SPRCC to come together this coming Wednesday to elect a chair and deputy chair.

Why don't they just tell the current SPRCC who they are and avoid the convention altogether? Ruling by fiat never works.

If this is the top-down approach that the CD4 leadership wants to instill, then perhaps there should be some resignations starting with CD4 Chair Jim Carson.

At the end of the CD4 Convention, the "new" delegates voted unanimously to reconvene at the call of the Chair of the SPRCC. That is SPRCC Chair Greg Copeland, not Jim Carson. We have been having Constitution Committee meetings to make our constitution align with the new direction the CD4 delegates (who mostly live outside of the St Paul City Limits) voted for just before the lunch at the CD4 Convention in April. Now CD4 Chair Jim Carson is making decisions that violate the Republican Party of Minnesota's State Constitution. Barring access to a list to Candidates is a clear cut violation.

This isn't the first time CD4 Chair Jim Carson has barred access to the RNC Data Center list for Endorsed Republican Candidates Greg Copeland and Paul Holmgren from August 2013 to the present. Mind you the only endorsed Republican Candidates between the two largest cities in the state of Minnesota. When we asked the state party for access they kept referring back to the CD4 Chair Jim Carson who kept barring the SPRCC access to the Data Center.

This stuff needs to stop if we are to win voters in St Paul for Mike McFadden, Jeff Johnson, and Sharna Wahlgren (the CD4 Endorsed Republican Candidate).
