The most effective way to reduce firearm-related injuries and deaths is to use a gun lock and keep fi****ms unloaded and stored separately from ammunition. “I’m grateful that we could get a strong, bipartisan bonding bill passed this year that is going to help fund some really critical needs for the area, including continued flood mitigation improvements, the juvenile facility project, and the West Central Regional Water District,” said Sen. Kupec. “Minnesotans expected us to come together, find common ground, and pass a bonding bill that helps communities like ours, and that’s exactly what we’re doing with this bill. I’m proud to vote yes for this good bill.”

It’s been 17 years since a devastating flood prompted City of Moorhead officials to upgrade infrastructure to mitigate floods. They just got the last bit of funding to finish the projects.

Minnesotans in every corner of the state are struggling with the high cost of living precisely because private equity investors continue to sn**ch up single family homes without any guardrails.

Housing is not meant to be a cash cow for Wall Street. Housing is meant to be a place where Minnesotans can build memories. As long as these important pieces of legislation are blocked by Republicans, faceless corporations will continue to take advantage of Minnesotans with no consequences.
