Summer in Saint Paul is here!

As parks, patios, festivals, and community events fill up, a few simple safety reminders can go a long way. Looking out for one another helps keep our neighborhoods safe, connected, and strong all season long.

Today, we remember and honor the law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in recognizing Peace Officers Memorial Day and paying tribute to those who gave their lives protecting others. Their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

As we continue Police Week, we join the Minnesota Wild in honoring Sergeant Amy Rahlf and Officer Annie Baumgart for their work in the community.

Sergeant Rahlf and Officer Baumgart were recognized last night at the Wild playoff game as the Community Hero of the Game!

If you’ve had the opportunity to meet them, you know just how much heart they put into everything they do. Safe Summer Nights, Shop with a Cop, Cops and Kids, Junior Police Academy, and the Saint Paul Police Cadet Program are just some of the events that Sergeant Rahlf and Officer Baumgart run year after year.

This recognition is well deserved. We’re proud of them and all they do for the city of Saint Paul! Thank you, Amy and Annie!
