Many of you know Sonja and her six kids. They were all involved at The Lift at some point over the years. Sonja's mother passed away yesterday from ovarian cancer, and she is in need of some donations for the funeral. She would appreciate any assistance.

Happy Holidays from the Lift!

Our staff and volunteers had so much fun delivering some holiday cheer to our families. Parents and our students received gingerbread houses to decorate and gift cards to enjoy the holidays with. We loved going door to door to connect with everyone before the new year!

This month, The Lift said goodbye to one of our long-term employees, Connor Unger. Connor has worked at The Lift since 2015, serving in varied roles such as operations, youth programs, communication, and development. He brought improvements to each area, making The Lift overall a better organization. Connor has accepted a position as National Program Manager with Gift Card Bank, another organization that works to improve life for struggling families. He will also continue to focus on his writing.
