Today we commemorate the 82nd anniversary of D-Day. We honor the bravery and sacrifice of the Allied troops on the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944, a day that forever changed the course of history. May we never forget their courage and heroism.

We are sad to announce Edward "Ed" Lozinski, 76, lost his life in a traffic accident on Highway 68 southeast of Minneota. In an instant, a family lost a loved one, friends lost a companion, and fellow veterans lost a brother who shared in the bonds of service and community.
For those who knew Ed through VFW Post 5334 Minnesota, he was more than a name in a news report. He was part of the fabric of the post one of the veterans who helped carry forward the traditions of service, remembrance, and support for fellow veterans. We will post funeral arrangements when receive them. Please keep Ed’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this tragic event.
