WOW. What an incredible day!

The First Annual St. Michael Fire Golf Tournament is officially in the books, and we cannot say THANK YOU enough to everyone who helped make it such a tremendous success.

To our sponsors—thank you for believing in this event and supporting the St. Michael Fire Department. Your generosity, hole activities, giveaways, prizes, and enthusiasm helped create an unforgettable experience for every golfer on the course.

To our golfers—thank you for filling the tournament, bringing the energy, and sticking with us through a little Minnesota weather! While Mother Nature gave us a few raindrops, she certainly couldn't dampen the fun, camaraderie, and excitement that filled Fox Hollow Golf Club all day long.

From the one-putt challenge and on-course contests to the amazing Big Boar BBQ banquet, awards, and fellowship afterward, the day exceeded all of our expectations. Seeing our community come together to support the Fire Department was truly special.

Because of your support, we are already looking forward to making next year even bigger and better.

Beginning Monday, May 4, CSAH 36 will be closed to westbound traffic. Eastbound traffic will remain open. Below is a summary of the construction schedule, work areas, and important detour information. The project website – https://wrightcsah36-wsbeng.hub.arcgis.com/ – will be updated as needed with progress updates and navigation information for areas in and around the construction zone. If you have questions or concerns during construction, please contact the construction helpline at [email protected]. Construction will occur in several stages. During this time, the roadway will be closed to westbound traffic between Ogren Avenue NE and Quam Avenue NE. Westbound drivers should follow the posted detour. Two-way traffic will be maintained west of Ogren Avenue NE and east of Quam Avenue NE. The project is expected to be completed by late-fall 2026.

Heads up St. Michael! The St. Michael Fire Dept. is conducting another full-scale TRAINING. Tonight, between 7 and 10 p.m., they will be at 22 1st St SE - between the American Legion and Dunn Bros - inside the house and in the yard. There will be trucks, sirens, firefighters in full gear, fire hoses being pulled off the trucks, etc. Have no fear! There is no fire, no rescue, nor anything of the sort. Just a dedicated crew practicing their skills for when a real emergency strikes.

Santa will be at the St. Michael Central Fire Station (216 Main St. S) this Saturday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come to the station to get your picture with Kris Kringle and meet some of his favorite helpers, our amazing volunteer paid-on-call firefighters!
