As everyone settles back into the school-year routine, the City of Saint Marys Police Department reminds motorists that our school zones are active and enforced during school opening and dismissal times.

Please remember to:
🚗 Follow all posted school zone speed limits
🛑 Watch for and obey our crossing guards
👀 Stay alert for children crossing or walking near the roadway
📵 Put the phone down and keep your attention on the road

Our school zones are busy places during arrival and dismissal. A little extra patience and attention can make a big difference.

The City of Saint Marys Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals pictured below in connection with a trespassing incident on Johnsonburg Road.

Anyone who recognizes these individuals or has information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Police Department at 814-781-1315.

The 2026 National Night Out was a great success!

A big thank you to the City of St. Marys Parks and Recreation and the Dickinson Center for organizing such a fantastic event. We also appreciate all the vendors and organizations who hosted booths and activities for the community.

Most importantly, thank you to the incredible community members who came out and made the evening so special!
