As we near the end of Police Week, we would like to recognize Chief Luke Turpin for his leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to both the department and the community he serves. Chief Turpin consistently puts the department before himself and always strives to do what is best for the men and women of the Police Department, ultimately ensuring the highest level of service to the citizens of St. Marys. His drive for success, professionalism, and ability to make thoughtful decisions for the greater good are reflected in the way he leads each and every day.

Chief Turpin is highly respected for his leadership style, his understanding of what the department needs to succeed, and his continued commitment to serving the community with integrity. He leads with purpose, remains mindful of both officer wellness and public trust, and continually works to move the department forward in a positive direction.

And although there’s usually a live stream of the Fostoria, Ohio rail-cam playing in the background of Chief Turpin's office, we still think he’s a fantastic Chief! 🚂👮
