We had a fabulous time yesterday at “Remake Learning Day”! We shared “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom”, painted palm trees, “ate” a coconut tree, used playdoh, built diy flashlights, and experimented with the Library’s snap circuits. Participants learned about what’s available at the PCFSC and explored the Library’s Makerspace. Soooo much fun!!

We’d like to give a special thanks to all who volunteered to help with today’s event. The Pleasants County Public Library, Pleasants County Family Support Center, Susan Bailey, Callie Bennett, Madelynn Bennett, Liz Eddy, Mariah Evans, Sheri Fleegle, Stephanie Hooper, Kristi Jones, Dianna Lewis, Beth Mankins, Jessi Rupert, Riley Rupert, and Kasi Taylor.
Caroline and Mary are looking forward to next year!!

AgEP signups are officially open!

The Upper Ohio Conservation District is now accepting applications for the Agriculture Enhancement Program beginning today, May 4th, with signups running through May 29th.

If you’ve been considering a project, now is the time to submit your application!

WVU Extension, strives to improve the lives and livelihoods of all West Virginians by delivering relevant, research-backed educational programs throughout the state. To ensure that these programs address critical issues that affect our communities, WVU Extension will launch a statewide needs assessment.
These efforts will begin with a series of listening sessions to be held across the state to hear from stakeholders.

•May 2, 9 a.m. – WVU J.W. Ruby Research Farm, Reedsville
•May 7, 6:30 p.m. – Jefferson County Extension Office, Kearneysville
•May 11, 7 p.m. – WVU Jackson’s Mill Assembly Hall, Weston
•May 14, 6 p.m. – Wood County Courthouse Annex, Parkersburg
•May 20, 6 p.m. – Eastern Community College, Moorefield
•May 26, 6:30 p.m. – WVU Building, State Fairgrounds, Fairlea
