Even if you feel fine, you should still see your provider for regular checkups. These visits can help avoid problems in the future. For example, the only way to find out if you have high blood pressure is to have it checked regularly. High blood sugar and high cholesterol level also may not have any symptoms in the early stages. Simple blood tests can check for these conditions.

There are specific times when you should see your provider or receive specific health screenings. The US Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) publishes a list of recommended screenings, and these are updated as needed. Starting Monday, June 15, we have water bottles for Kindergarteners, 8th Graders, and Seniors who come in for school required immunizations! The first 50 in each grade level will get a water bottle with stickers! When they're gone, they're gone, so come in sooner rather than later. St. Joe Health Department Immunization Clinic is open Mon-Fri 8:00-11:00 a.m. and 1:00-4:00 p.m.

We accept insurance but do not require it. For fastest service, please bring a shot record (especailly if shots have taken place in another state), health insurance card, ID can be helpful as well as knowledge of date of birth, address and full legal name of the person getting the vaccine. We are at 904 S. 10th Street, the clinic is on the first floor.
