Tomorrow is a big day for getting your job search and networking off to a good start.

• A representative from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) will be available for Q&A from 2:45 P.M. through 4:15 P.M. in the Conference Room in the 3rd Floor of the Main Building. If you are interested in a career in banking, this would be a great opportunity to meet a bank regulator and hear about opportunities with the OCC.

• Career Services is hosting the Connections Kickoff (see information below). There will be several companies represented at this event, and it will be a great opportunity for you to hear about internships and jobs with these organizations. Organizations that have hired recent ECON graduates are among the group, including Best Buy Headquarters, Securian Financial Group, C.H. Robinson, KPMG, EY, UnitedHealth Group, and the OCC. There will likely be some young alumni among the recruiters.

Attention Economics students:

We are setting up our information sessions for the DC Summer Program for 2017. This past summer we had our largest variety of majors ever (and found great paid internships).
Economics and Environmental Studies majors had incredible internships in DC including Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget and Senate Finance Committee and the Urban Land Institute, Department of Interior in the Office of Environmental Policy and Compliance, and American Rivers.
