The annual veterans resources event, VetFest, was held last week at the Berrien County Youth Fairgrounds and it was the largest turnout yet!
Hundreds of veterans and their family members came to enjoy food and refreshments, free haircuts, military surplus, help with VA Healthcare enrollment, local services providers at the resource fair, and checkup on potential eligibility for veteran benefits.

The mission of VetFest is to equip Berrien County veterans with knowledge of the broad range of benefits and resources available, everything from medical, legal and mental health information/assistance, job counseling, recreation, referrals, and most importantly companionship and camaraderie.
