Coming SOON to our EXCITING new location near downtown Dowagiac!!! A town jam packed full of AMAZING History, the MOST BEAUTIFUL Historical Buildings lining Front Street, three museums of their own that are amazing and a Mayor and his staff that fully embrace and rolled out the Welcome mat to us!!! Over the next 3+ months we will be packing up our current location and rolling nearly 100,000 House of David artifacts, artwork, baseball items and ephemera to our exciting new location!! Offering us DRASTICALLY more space, all on one level, with LOTS of parking for guests and huge group tours, schools, class reunions, historic society tours, and soooo much more! I’ve been CLOSELY watching this small group that’s calling themselves the “Israelite House of David” for several years now, when in fact all of the members passed away quite some time ago. This group, though not truly members, has slowly & methodically tried to dispel MANY of the wonderful & famous highlights & aspects of our beloved House of David. To read what this group continues to push out to the public is misleading & saddening & actually mind blowing that they feel they’ve now become an authority on the subject, yet I’m the one who unfortunately had trusted & introduced them to the last few members back when we needed caregivers around 2009 or so. This new way of thinking is referred to as the “Cancel Culture” as they try to rewrite history they way THEY want it to read, trying to erase a century of stories shared by one of Michigan and America’s most unique chapters!
Just a word of caution to ALL……be careful what you read & hear from this group. I know them VERY well….and sadly they’re NOT who they’re depicting themselves to be.

I’m blown away by the generosity of Gary Bagnall, the Founder & Director of the Museum of Animal & Pet History of San Luis Obispo, California for putting this AMAZING ten minute documentary together and sending it to me just now!!! He is also gifting us artwork he has collected from the House of David!!! Being right there in the backyard of Disneyland he was BLOWN AWAY years ago to find the story of how Walt Disney had actually stayed here at the House of David and you’ll see why!!!!! Absolutely LOVED this!!!!!
