The Ephratah Vol Firehouse is open from 1-5 today (12/29) for a warming center for Ephratah residents. We will reassess at 5:00 if the there is a need to continue.

The Ephratah Vol. Fire Department offers our condolences to the Oppenheim VFD with the passing of long time member Scott DeNinno Sr. Our hearts are with his family and his department.

On 7/21 EVFD conducted training on our new air packs! Rehab refresher training was also conducted. Nice job by the membership in attendance (a standby call for our mutual aide partner Canajoharie Fire kept the other airpack qualified members busy)!

It doesn’t necessarily mean running into a burning building; We need people in many different roles. Talk to a member or stop by Monday nights and see how your skills or interests could help out a department near you.
