☀️💦 Splashing Into Summer! 💦☀️

Ms. Morgan and Ms. Ball’s 1st grade classes had a splashing good time beating the heat this week! Students enjoyed cooling off in the sprinklers, and spending time outdoors with their friends.

From laughter-filled games to big smiles all around, it was the perfect way to celebrate the warm weather and make lasting memories together. 🌞🎈💧

On Friday, June 12, 2026, St. Johnsbury School proudly celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2026!

Our 8th grade students were recognized for their hard work, growth, resilience, and accomplishments throughout their time at St. Johnsbury. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and grateful for the unique contributions each student has made to our school community.

As they embark on their next chapter, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and wish them continued success, happiness, and confidence in all that lies ahead. No matter where their journeys take them, the Class of 2026 will always be an important part of the St. Johnsbury School family.

St. Johnsbury School Food Service is providing free meals this summer for all kids 18 and under. No application, no ID needed. Just show up!
All Meals are Grab and Go!!!
Where:
📍 St. Johnsbury School - Under the bell tower in the upper roundabout
📍 Lyndonville - Powers Park under the red pavilion
When:
🕥 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM, Monday through Friday
🚫 Closed Friday, July 3rd, 2026

🚨 Important Health Office Reminder 🚨
Parents/Guardians: If your student has emergency medication stored in the Health Office (such as an inhaler, EpiPen, or other emergency medication) and is not enrolled in the Summer CATCH Program, please make arrangements to pick up their medication by June 15 at 12:30pm.

The Health Office cannot store student emergency medications over the summer for students who are not participating in CATCH.
If you have any questions, please contact the Health Office. Thank you for helping us ensure medications are safely returned to families before summer break! ☀️

🐠🌊 Ms. Ball’s First Graders Are Having a Splash with Our ABC Countdown! 🌊🐠

Monday was the letter U, and they celebrated with an Under the Sea Day! Students used their creativity to design and build ocean dioramas, complete with all of the sea creatures they wanted to include. Throughout the day, they also created jellyfish and other ocean-themed art projects that brought our classroom to life!

The excitement is building as we continue our ABC Countdown to the end of first grade. We still have so many fun days ahead, including Water Play Day, eXtra Recess Day, Yeehaw Day, and finally Zooming Out of First Grade! 🚿☀️🤠🚀

We are making wonderful memories together as we celebrate a year full of learning, growth, and fun! 💙

📣 Exciting News for St. Johnsbury School! 📣
Following Monday evening's Board meeting, we are thrilled to announce that Tim Mulligan has been unanimously appointed as the next Principal of St. Johnsbury School, effective July 1, 2026.
Tim brings more than 20 years of educational experience, including nine years as Principal of Newark Street School in Vermont.

Throughout the search process, he impressed students, staff, families, and community members with his commitment to building strong relationships, supporting student success, and fostering open communication.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Jeremy Ross for his many years of dedicated service and leadership. His contributions have made a lasting impact on our school community, and we wish him all the best in his next chapter.

Please join us in giving Tim a warm St. Johnsbury welcome! We are excited for the opportunities ahead and look forward to this next chapter together.
