Please join us in congratulating Officer Carson Smires on his graduation from the 121st Basic Training Class at the Vermont Police Academy.

Officer Smires began his journey on February 2, 2026, and has successfully completed 17 weeks of rigorous academic, physical, and practical instruction. Throughout his training, he demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and a strong commitment to serving our community.

Graduating from the academy is a significant accomplishment and marks the beginning of a rewarding career in law enforcement. We are proud of Officer Smires' hard work and perseverance and look forward to the positive impact he will have while serving the citizens and visitors of our community.
