It’s that time of year again as we provide security at the Caledonia County Fair. This year we are setup quite differently though as our newly built Office on the grounds is complete and we couldn’t be happier!

Our lobby will be closed August 26th & 27th. Please plan accordingly. There will be NO fingerprinting appointments on Thursday August 27th.
There are limited available appointments left for Tuesday August 18th, Thursday August 20th and Monday August 24th.

Exciting news!!!
Last year, while providing security at the Caledonia County Fair, I expressed my interest to Fair Staff about adding a permanent facility on the grounds. Today I am pleased to announce that Fair Staff approved and we are actively building a Caledonia County Sheriff’s Department facility!! Thanks to Dan Tanner Contracting and Fair Staff, our building will be up and operating prior to the start of this years Fair. This is another milestone our Department has successfully achieved!

Good morning, I want to clarify our Department currently does NOT have an active contract with St. Johnsbury. There have been discussions and we are scheduled to have further discussions but we have not been hired or contracted to provide services at this time. I have notified WCAX with this information. Today Deputy Bobbie Roy had the great privilege to visit the Peacham Children's Academy in Peacham vt. Deputy Roy went over bike safety and made sure their helmets properly fit them. Always a joy to visit and educate our local youth!!
