Deputy Bobbie Roy and Deputy/fire fighter Landon Labounty participated in the Barnet schools summer spectacular event, volunteering in the Dunk tank!!! What a great day to be in a dunk tank with this heat!! It was a super fun event and look forward to being invited back next year!! Hats off to the Barnet schools PTF! They put on a great event!!!

Today was another busy day for the Caledonia County Sheriff’s Department:
-Court security, covered
-2 road construction details, covered
-Wide load es**rt to the NY border, covered

Also, Sheriff Brandon Thrailkill got to spend the morning with students at the Hardwick Elementary School and Deputy Bobbie Roy spent the afternoon with students at the Danville School. Both events that were hosted had multiple local agencies and businesses present. It was a great way to end the week!

Sheriff Brandon Thrailkill, Sergeant Doug Morrill and Corporal Tyler Deos had the pleasure of providing security at Weidmann’s grand opening of the their new facility in St. Johnsbury. It was a great celebration and the Caledonia County Sheriff’s Department was glad to assist with providing additional safety measures for all attendees. Thank you Weidmann Electrical Technology!

Bike Safety morning at Blue Mountain Union School. Deputy Roy shared some bike safety tips, read a story to the students and fitted some bicycle helmets to those in need.

This week I had the privilege to spend a great, and much informative, couple of days training with several of our VT Sheriff’s at the New England Sheriff’s Summit. Sheriff Jennifer Harlow put in countless hours organizing the event which was hosted at Jay Peak Resort and I’m very proud to attend and interact with leaders across our state. Thank you!

Thank you Calex Ambulance Service for the invitation to attend Touch-A-Truck in St. Johnsbury this morning. It was a great event with several local agencies in attendance. We look forward to next year’s participation.
