Back in April 2025, we added a fire danger sign to help convey the messages to the public.

In the last 24 hours, our sign had a "negative vehicle to signage interface", in which the sign was obliterated...

Slow steps...

Last night, Smoke proved to PT that he coul make it to the hallway wall and back (100 feet or so), and this morning he's been up and trying to get lunch. We offered him tacos, enchiladas or whatever he wanted... and he chose Subway - so we know he still has a concussion!

Everything is a struggle that really takes it out of him - but he's not giving up! He said he'll be back in a day or two because he needs to go back to running calls... and if anyone can do it, Smoke can!

We appreciate all of your support!

Alright folks - hero time!

If you don't know Robert "Smoke" Vallejos, you've probably been living under a rock. From fires. To ambulance calls, to wildland fires, rodeos, refereeing, co****le... this guy has been there in some way, shape or form his entire life... and now, he needs you.

Please say a prayer, dig deep, and let's show Smoke how much he means to this community.

Graphic stolen from 12 news but with the best of intentions 😉...

A little rain here and a little rain there isn't enough to curb the high fire danger, and it leads a question as to what winter may bring... please continue to be diligent in your safe use of fires, and be even more diligent in the removal of hazardous fuels and vegetation.

Remember - Arizona looks best when it's unburnt!

We're a long way to the 4th, but a short time until orders have to be placed to ensure the Pyrotechnics are here in time...

2026 marks the 250th birthday of our amazing country! 🎉 We're gearing up for a massive fireworks show that will be a true celebration of this milestone. However, it's going to cost us close to three times what we spent last year. Every dollar you contribute will go directly towards the fireworks and all the materials needed for the show. Let's make this a night to remember for our community! 💥

If you believe in celebrating our nation's history in a big way, please like this post, drop a comment, or share it with your friends! Every little bit helps us get closer to our goal and brings us one step closer to lighting up the sky together!

Local folks, feel free to stop by City Hall if you're so inclined to help make to 2026 show a success! We'd ask that you help share this, so that we can get our order placed soon to ensure availability of effects for 2026... send it your Friends, relatives, the guy who knows the guy who grooms your neighbors dog, out of state Cousins you haven't seen since that one Thanksgiving with the turkey incident or any folks you think may want to have a show for the record books!

Its going to seem unconventional, but we're taking a shot at reaching far and wide to support the 2026 4th of July Fireworks Show.

2026 is the 250th Birthday of our beloved country, and we want to put on a show rivaling the Bicentennial!

Some of you may be young enough to reach the Tricentennial, but for many of us, this will be the time to "Party like it's Nineteen Seventy Six!" (My apologies to Prince!)

The 2025 4th of July tipped the scales at just over $25,000 - so we figure "Go big or go home!", and set our goal at $75,000 for 2026...

Anyone who has seen our shows knows that St. Johns has by far the best little show in all of Arizona - and now I'm asking that you all help take part in making it happen!

Donate at City Hall, or with the GoFundMe link... and please share the link to all your friends, neighbors, weird relatives and that one guy who's friends with your cousin's sister's friend!
