Welcome to the home of Dr. Goodenevil. This mansion built in the late 1800’s
was both the home and office of the Doctor and his family. Life was good in the Goodenevil household
until the time of the great depression. The Goodenevil family opened his home
to people who were not fairing the Depression
as well as they were. Feeding, sheltering and treating
the ills of the destitute became commonpla
ce. Until the unfortunate day his only daughter
was murdered by a traveler
that was welcomed into their home. After her death Doctor Goodenevil
became maddened and obsessed
with the loss of his daughter. He began seeking ways to bring her back to life. His research began to have an effect
on himself and the house. The long collection of dead bodies in
midnight raids from local graveyards,
experiments on the living so bizarre
that an evil was unleashed on the house. Souls of the dead were trapped inside
and began to manifest their past lives through out the house. The once tranquil hallways and rooms began to fill with the past lives of the dead and horrors controlled by the house. So beware as you travel through the house
that you don’t become an unending addition to the house of
Dr. Goodenevil…
About us:
A good cheap way to have fun is at Lake Hills Haunted House. We are up and running throughout the whole month of October. Our actors are mostly local volunteers who are very determined and hard-working. All ages are welcome to the haunted house. We are located in the Lake Hills subdivision in St.John, Indiana. We are a safe and secure facility. In all our years of being an organization, no harm has ever come to our actors or spectators. We are equipped with an experienced staff that is always well aware and prepared. We are newly renovated and constantly undergoing renovations for a safe yet exhilarating experience. We are also a tax free organization, therefore; the money from tax-payers does not go to us. The haunted house only makes money for the town of St.John. The money acquired supports other attractions such as the Christmas in the Park celebration. The Experience:
Are clowns a favorite? Are you fancied by chainsaws? How about madly insane doctors? Well after the evil experienced inside Lake Hills Haunted House, you will find yourself answering no to all these questions. While you wait in suspense to enter, our actors provide terrifying line entertainment. Once you step inside our evil realm, you are overcome by pure terror. As you pace yourself from room to room you will see our actors portraying scary figures who are stationed in creative realistic scenes. Our actors are sure to get screams and jumps out of customers. Once exiting the haunted house you will succumb to sudden relief, but watch out: Michael Myers is infamous for roaming the premises. If you visit us, you will not regret it. Volunteering:
People interested in volunteering in our organization should be at least sixteen years of age. We supply quality airbrush makeup applied by an experienced staff member. Our awesome makeup is accompanied by realistic costumes and a ton of fake blood! They are also provided a break that includes food. The hard work exerted by our volunteers does not only pay off by screams of terrified customers, but by the close friendships and unforgettable memories made at the haunted house. Information about volunteering can be acquired from the town of St.John prior to October. Additional and thorough information is given at mandatory meetings held closer to the Halloween season.
