🇺🇸 NEVER FORGET | SEPTEMBER 11, 2001

Today, Saint Jo Fire/EMS pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the incredible courage shown by first responders and everyday Americans.

We especially remember the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice while answering the call.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember their courage, their sacrifice, and their service.

May we never forget those who went to work that morning and never came home.

343. Never Forgotten. 🇺🇸

🚨 BIG NEWS FOR SAINT JO! 🌦️📡

Saint Jo is now home to one of the newest weather radar systems in the Texoma region!

For Saint Jo Fire/EMS and Saint Jo Emergency Management, this is more than just new technology—it’s another tool to help us better protect our community and surrounding area.

With severe weather always a threat in North Texas, improved radar coverage can provide better information when monitoring severe thunderstorms, high winds, hail, heavy rainfall, and potential tornadoes. Having timely, localized weather information helps emergency officials make better decisions, prepare responders, and get important information to the public when every minute matters.

We’re excited to see Saint Jo continue to improve its severe-weather capabilities and strengthen emergency preparedness for our community.

Better information. Better preparation. A safer Saint Jo.

Saint Jo, TX Police Department

Texoma is known for its severe weather, and not knowing what’s coming in time can be deadly. That’s why Saint Jo has become home to the newest weather radar in the region.
