The City of St. James invites residents, business owners, and community members to attend an upcoming Engagement Session for the Active Transportation Demonstration Project.

Learn about the proposed demonstration project at the intersection of Armstrong Blvd N and 5th Ave N, including planned temporary curb extensions designed to improve safety and accessibility for pedestrians, cyclists, and individuals using mobility devices.

This project is funded through the MnDOT Active Transportation Planning Assistance Grant, and your feedback is important as we work to create safer, more connected transportation options in our community.

During National Public Works Week, the City of St. James would like to recognize and thank our Public Works and Light Department for the important work they do every day to serve our community.

Whether it’s maintaining streets and parks, caring for water and utility systems, responding to power outages, or handling unexpected emergencies, these crews work year-round to keep St. James safe, functional, and running smoothly. Much of their work happens behind the scenes, but its impact is seen throughout our community every single day.
