The Mackinac County Road Commission will CLOSE Swede Road, from 30 Mile Road to Quarry Road. This closure is for all through traffic during construction. This closure begins today, September 15, 2026 until further notice. Further updates will be communicated.

The Mackinac County Road Commission has CLOSED Blair Road and Rutledge Road in Marquette Township for a culvert replacement. This closure is for all through traffic beginning today, September 9, 2026 and is anticipated to last 4 weeks.

Blair Road will be closed from 1 Mile Road to 3 Mile Road.

Rutledge Road will be closed from Taylor Road to Blair Road.

The victims, Bruce Wagner, 51, and Steve Spenle, 49, both of Mason, were patching holes on the side of the highway near Holt Road when they were fatally struck.
