Mackinac County 4-H Mackinac County 4-H provides positive youth development programming through out the county via volunteers.

Consider volunteering to educate and support our youth! Michigan 4-H guiding principles work with youth to:

*Develop positive relationships with adults and peers
*Physically and emotionally safe
*Actively engaged in their own development
*Considered participants rather than recipients in the learning process
*Develop skills that help them succeed
*Recognize, understand and appreciate multiculturalism

🏕️ Registration is now open for 2026 U.P. 4-H Camp! All youth ages 9-13 or going into 4th-8th grades in the fall (on Jan. 1, 2026; counselors ages 14-19) are invited to join us at camp this summer.
The camper registration fee is $150 from May 1-May 31. A $50 deposit is due at time of registration.
Registration is through 4-H Online: https://v2.4Honline.com
🍀 For current members, log in to 4-H Online, scroll below the list of family members, and select the UP 4-H Camp event; complete the registration for each youth attending.
🍀 For those who need to register as a 4-H member, go to 4-H Online and enroll your member (club: Luce County - General Experience; project: outdoor recreation). Once Ashley approves the enrollment, you will see the UP 4-H Camp event pop up for registration.

Are you new to showing animals? Did you earn a spot in your county’s showmanship sweepstakes contest? Perhaps you’d simply like to sharpen your showmanship skills for a project you’ve been taking for a few years now... Michigan 4-H now has showmanship guides available for every species that were designed with you in mind!

With county fair season approaching, there is no better time than now to start building your showmanship skills.

🏕️ Registration is now open for 2026 U.P. 4-H Camp! All youth ages 9-13 or going into 4th-8th grades in the fall (on Jan. 1, 2026; counselors ages 14-19) are invited to join us at camp this summer.
The camper registration fee is $140 through April 30 and $150 from May 1-May 31. A $50 deposit is due at time of registration.

Registration for the 2026 Michigan 4-H Dairy Quiz Bowl Contest is now open!

This contest is open to any Michigan 4-H youth who are interested in dairy and/or animal science. The contest is open to youths aged 8-19 as of January 1, 2026.

The registration cost is free. The contest will be held in Anthony Hall on Saturday, June 27th, 2026, and begin at 10:00 a.m. Registration closes on June 15th, 2026. Both county teams and individuals interested in competing are encouraged to register!
