** Donation of Massey Fish Products **
*** Happening this Friday November 14th! ***

Massey Fish would like to acknowledge the struggle some families are facing with food insecurity due to delays in SNAP benefits and other financial constraints. So once again, we are partnering with several other agencies to offer a little relief for families in need of some additional support. Together, we will be providing up to 350 families a package of free fish products containing a combination of Massey’s frozen fish fillets and our fresh smoked fish patés.

The give-away will take place this Friday, November 14th, at the CLM Community Action Agency on Reagon St. in St. Ignace from 10:00am -2:00pm. If possible, bring a cooler or freezer bag for best quality. A family member may pick up your package if you do not have transportation.

Elders, seniors, and families experiencing food insecurity will receive 5 lbs. of frozen Vacuum-packed Whitefish Fillets, 2 lbs. of frozen Vacuum-packed Lake Trout Fillets, 2 containers of Smoked Whitefish Paté, and 2 containers of Smoked Lake Trout Paté.

Massey Fish has always been grateful for the support that has been shown to us over the years and we feel blessed to be able to pay that forward to our community. We could not make this happen without the collaboration of the following agencies: CLM Community Action Agency, Gordon Food Service, Enbridge, 7th Legacy, and of course, our dedicated Tribal Commercial Fishermen who were happy to donate a portion of their catch. We hope this little bit helps!

WE HAVE 30 TICKETS TO THE TIGERS VS ASTROS GAME AVAILABLE! ANY VETERAN PLUS ONE GUEST WANTING TO GO CAN SIGN UP ON FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. VETERAN DOES NOT NEED TO BE VFW POST MEMBER.

We are helping VFW Post 3676 in the Soo. Last week our Post surprisingly received 54 free tickets for the members to go to the Tigers vs Astros game next Monday Aug. 18th. We are hoping to raise enough funds for the bus and their hotel rooms. We are DESPERATELY trying to QUICKLY raise enough $$$$ so they do not have to pay anything for the trip. Would you, your work friends or organization be willing to make a donation to the fund? Any amount will be humbly and gratefully appreciated as well as tax deductible if significant enough, as we are a non profit. Thank for reading this far! 😂 Your business or group will be mentioned on tv, radio, social media and featured on our Facebook as well! Plus possibly in the National VFW magazine if our event article gets accepted. Thank you again. Our VFW really appreciates any support.
Drop cash or checks made out to VFW Post 3676 with Tigers Trip written in the Memo section at the VFW Post 3676 on Portage Avenue across from the Locks in the Soo. Thank you again! 🇺🇸
