This is a fun-filled hour of imagination and creativity at the St. Helens Community Center (2625 Gable Road)! This self-guided maker experience features a variety of art stations. Participants can explore different artistic mediums and create at their own pace.

This is a family-friendly program designed for youth and their adults to enjoy together. Drop in, get creative, and have some fun!

Please note: This is not a drop-off program. Youth under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event.

This program was made possible through a grant received from the Columbia County Cultural Coalition.

This will be our last Safe Sitter class opportunity until late fall. We have four spots left for August 13. Register at https://sthelens.recdesk.com/Community/Program/Detail?programId=1206

Sign up for our next Safe Sitter class scheduled for Thursday, August 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the St. Helens Community Center.

This class is for youth ages 11-15 to learn childcare techniques, basic first aid, CPR rescue skills, babysitting as business, and online and cellphone safety. Participants will receive The Official Safe Sitter Babysitter's Handbook. There are no prerequisite materials. You do not receive your CPR certification for this class; however, you will learn basic first aid.

Cost*: $70 in St. Helens and $78 out of district
*This program is non-refundable

We will take a half-hour lunch during the class. Please have students bring lunch, water, and snacks.

This class is located at the Community Center at 2625 Gable Rd., St. Helens.
