Hello Christmas Lights Family,

The Christmas lights this year reignited my hope and reminded me how much light there is in this community, especially during tough times that many are facing.

Two months of setup in every kind of weather and over 100,000 lights were all worth it when I hear, “So cool!” and “Wow, this is amazing, I’ve never seen anything like this.”

Hearing little kids excitedly say, “I can see the music!” makes it even more special.

The greatest gift of all is seeing families and friends come together. Life is about making memories, that’s why I do this.

Thank you to everyone who donated and supported the Columbia Pacific Food Bank, as well as to my neighbors and Christ Episcopal Church, for your kindness and grace throughout the season. I can't believe the show ends tonight. Time goes so fast. Thank you for another amazing season!

Wishing you all a wonderful New Year filled with blessings, hope, and light.

Hello Christmas Lights Family, there are only 2 nights left to see the light show. It ends on December 31st at 10:00. I will be playing longer shows with additional songs. Santa went back to the North Pole, so he won't be making an appearance. Thank you, everyone, for your love and support throughout this season.

Hello Christmas Lights Family,

Over 2,000 years ago, on that sacred night, the quiet darkness was pierced by the brilliance of angelic lights and the sound of heavenly music, heralding the birth of Jesus. The night sky came alive with this divine display, not merely as a wondrous spectacle but as a proclamation of profound and eternal significance.

The angel’s light was a divine symbol of God’s love breaking into the world. It pierced the darkness of despair, promising hope, love, joy, and peace.

Today, our dancing lights and music remind us of the heavenly radiance illuminating the shepherds’ fields. May we join the angelic chorus that proclaimed, “Glory to God in the highest.”

May we carry His light in our hearts, sharing love with our families, friends, and the community. Let the music and lights of this season echo the same joy the angels proclaimed on that first Christmas night.

Merry Christmas!

Hello Christmas Lights Family,

Here are the annual housekeeping reminders.

Kindly show consideration for our neighbors, who have generously supported this endeavor and tolerated the heightened traffic during show times. Your respect is crucial for the continued success and future of the light show.

*Don't block driveways
*Keep car volume at a reasonable level.
*Keep litter in your vehicle.
*Stay at the edge of the road if you get out of your vehicle.
*Don't honk your horn.
** Do not walk within the display as there are many trip hazards. This could cause you harm and destroy the features.
(see more on Viewing Etiquette on sthelensxmaslights.com)

Some people have shown a desire to contribute financially to cover the expenses of the lights and maintain the display. I have never taken monetary donations for this purpose. It is my gift to the community. Nevertheless, if you wish to donate Christmas items at any time of year; lights, props, trees, figures, etc., please don't hesitate to reach out to me.

I'm proud to be a part of this amazing community.
Merry Christmas!

Hello Christmas Lights Family,

The heart of this light show is to create moments that inspire cherished memories with family, friends, and loved ones. These experiences become a lasting legacy, reminding us that it is these precious moments that matter most.

I wanted to honor the truth that each person carries a unique story, and this season can be especially challenging for many. May we embrace kindness, nurture patience, and extend compassion to ourselves and others. Let us open our hearts to love and allow that love to be a guiding light. It’s okay if Christmas looks a little different this year. Keep moving forward. Be strong and take heart.

Let hope guide your eyes to the light within the darkness. May you feel the abundance of love around you. Take time to appreciate both the small and meaningful blessings, and allow memories to bring you joy. Let tears of thankfulness flow freely when they come.

May the lights of peace, joy, love, and hope surround you.
You are loved.
Let your beautiful light shine!
