Our annual toy drive is BACK! We are asking for your help to give back to those who are in need of it the most this holiday season. SHFD is gathering toys for local kids and will be accepting gifts / donations starting today Nov 20th till December 17th, feel free to drop off gifts at the fire house located at 1480 Main Street, St. Helena CA. Toy bins will be located in front of our fire house. We are staffed 24/7 now so feel free to come on by and say hello to our crews during the day. Please feel free to share our post. Thank you all in advanced for your help.

We had the pleasure of hosting a station tour for 6 kids and 2 teachers from Sun and Stars Montessori school. Big thank you for coming by! We had a great time with you all!

May is w**d abatement month! We urge you all to do your part in preventing the spread of fire by keeping all w**ds and vegetation (especially dried grass and brush) cut down to a maximum of 4". For more information on wildfire preparedness, please visit www.readyforwildfire.org

Glass Fire Update - As of 9/29/20 @ 10:25am, 36,236 acres have burned with 0% containment. The situation is ever evolving and updates will be provided as new information becomes available.

We know this is a very stressful time for our town and our neighbors, but rest assured we are devoting every available resource to combat this fire; while maintaining station coverage for local emergencies.

We ask that you please hold back from spreading rumors and unconfirmed reports as they only serve to cause confusion and heightened anxiety. And please obey the evacuation directives. We care about your lives above all else. A single life is worth much more than any property.

If you are not currently under an evacuation order, we suggest that you use this time to prepare. Pack your go bags, and be ready to leave.
