The bidding is closed, and once again, our community showed up for Fripp Island Sea Rescue !🚤

To everyone who donated an item, placed a bid, shared our posts, told a friend, or helped make our 6th Annual Online Auction possible — THANK YOU!

Every item donated and every bid placed helps give our volunteers the resources they need to train, maintain our rescue boats, purchase equipment, fuel the boat and remain ready when someone on the water needs help.

And as we shared during the auction, you never know when that call will come. It might be in the middle of the afternoon—or at 11:00 at night after a meteor shower. 🌠

Our volunteers give their time. Your support helps give them the tools to do the job.

We are especially grateful to the businesses, local artists, property owners, community partners and individuals who generously donated the incredible items and experiences that made this auction possible.

🌠 MIDNIGHT METEOR SHOWER- FISR RESPONDED!!!!

What started as a beautiful night on the water ended with an unexpected call for help. Two women launched their boat from the public ramp at Station Creek to spend the evening watching a meteor shower. Around 11:00 PM, they were ready to head home—but their engine wouldn't start. It was dark. It was late. And they needed help. 🚤 FISR responded.

Our volunteer crew located the boat and safely towed the boat back to the Station Creek ramp.

Sometimes a Sea Rescue mission is dramatic. Sometimes it's simply being there when someone needs help getting home safely.

That's what your support of the FISR Online Auction makes possible. Our volunteers give their time—but keeping rescue boats fueled, maintained, equipped and ready to respond takes resources.
