📣 School Community Council Meeting

Our first School Community Council (SCC) meeting of the 2026–2027 school year is coming up this week! Friday, September 11
at 12:15 PM.

Have you ever wondered how our school’s Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) works or how School Trust Lands funds are used? The SCC plays an important role in reviewing our school’s plan, overseeing School Trust Lands funds and accounts, and helping guide decisions that impact our school.

The council is made up of parents, school administration, and educators, with parents making up the majority of the council.

All SCC meetings are open to our entire school community! We encourage parents and community members to attend, learn more, and be part of the conversation.

Yesterday was Spirit Friday, and our students showed up ready to represent Diamond Valley! 🎉 We loved seeing so many students wearing their school shirts and showing off their school spirit! 🏫✨

We have officially started our Friday Spirit Day counts! Students are encouraged to wear a Diamond Valley shirt or school colors on Fridays. The class with the highest percentage of participation gets bragging rights and a little extra Diamond Valley spirit for the week! 🙌🎉

School Picture Day is coming up next week on Thursday, September 10th! ✨ Get those smiles ready and come dressed for the occasion—your photo will be featured in this year's yearbook!

📷 All students will have their picture taken, but prints must be ordered.
