Our crews are hard at work replacing an aged wooden pole with a cast iron pole on a main transmission line to help keep our utility system strong and reliable for the community.

This kind of upgrade supports long-term service dependability and helps us prepare our infrastructure for the future. We appreciate your patience as our team completes this important work safely and efficiently.
Great work Chase, Ammon, Taz, Jordan, Mason, Andrew, Jed, Drew & Zac

Shoutout to our St. George Energy Linecrew for a job well done!

The crew set a new transmission pole in a tight location—working carefully around existing power lines to keep the system safe and reliable. This kind of work takes skill, teamwork, and attention to detail, and we’re proud of the dedication they bring to serving our community every day.

Thank you, Linecrew, for keeping St. George powered!

Congratulations to Jace Larson SCADA Supervisor—City of St. George Employee of the Month! 🎉

Please join us in celebrating Jace and thanking him for his service to our community!

Jace has shown extraordinary technical excellence and teamwork in enhancing the city's fiber network infrastructure. By setting up fiber connections for the new City Hall (plus a redundant connection) and Fire Station 1, he has saved the city a significant amount of money over having a contractor do this. Also, after a contractor working at City Hall dug through our 96-strand fiber connection, Jace and his team restored the connection within a day and fully reconnected the entire fiber bundle within three days. This can often take contractors several days to resolve, but Jace was on it immediately.

Jace's contributions have greatly supported operational efficiency, strengthened network resilience, and saved the city hundreds of thousands of dollars. His proficiency not only enhances the city’s technological framework but also positively impacts overall city operations, making him a deserving candidate for the City Manager's All Star Award.
