The Town of St. Francisville would like to notify residents that CES will be performing a sanitary sewer CCTV inspection tomorrow on the Town’s sewer lines that run behind both sides of Ferdinand Street.

Residents may notice CES crews and equipment in the area while this inspection is taking place. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue to inspect and maintain our sewer system.

Today, we welcomed a wonderful group from Destination Downtown and had the opportunity to share our beautiful historic town with them. From our history and architecture to our unique local charm, our guests had a great time exploring all that St. Francisville has to offer.

With some expert assistance from neighbors, crews have been able to clear most roadways from this evening’s storm. At one time there were 8 roads in the parish impassable due to fallen trees and debris.
WFPSO is proud to lend a hand when road crews are overwhelmed and we’re grateful for our community partners who always show up.

The Town is working on the final projects to complete the Capital Outlay Emergency Erosion funds that were allocated.
The final contract was awarded to Arbour Construction, they will be working on several sites at a time.

There is an erosion/drainage project that will take place on Sewell and Ferdinand Streets we have attached the site plan so you have the exact location.
At this site Ferdinand St will be closed to thru traffic between September 21 and November 2, 2026.
We will create a detour but wanted to share this information with you as this may have an impact on all of Royal Street and the side streets.

We are attaching the timeline with additional details as well as the site plan for this location.
