The St David optimist club will be holding it's 23rd annual french toast, pancakes and sausage fundraiser at it's hall in St David across the street from Casey's on Saturday April 25th to raise money for its summer ball program. Times will be 7am to noon. This will be all you can eat thick slice french toast, pancakes, whole hog large link sausage and a drink. Price will be $8.00 for adults, $4.00 for children ages 5-12 and children under 5 free. Sausage available for sale and ready for the freezer. Delivery available to persons living in St David and the surrounding area. Please like and share this to help us get the word out. Thank you for any help that you can give us! 😋

The St David optimist club is sponsoring a casino bus trip to Isle of Capri casino in Bettendorf, Iowa on Wednesday April 15th. Cost of the trip is $50.00 per person which includes transportation by Peoria Charter bus and $15 in free play. There will be pickup points in both Canton and St David for the trip. The St David optimist club will be holding a soup day at it's hall in St David across the street from Casey's on Saturday February 28th from 11am till sold out to raise money for its various youth activities. Cost for the meal which consists of all you can eat chili and vegetable beef soup, crackers and tea or coffee is $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for children 12 and under. Steam burgers, hotdogs, soda and various homemade desserts will also be available to purchase. Carry outs will be available also. Free home delivery available to people residing in the St David area. Due to the extreme cold temperature and frigid wind chills we are canceling bingo this Thurs Jan 29th. The 10 day forecast says that we will be in the 30 degree range for next Thursday. Hope to see you all next Thursday. Stay in and stay safe. Thank you 😊

We've had a lot of calls and yes we are having bingo tonight. The current temperature is 34 degrees and according to my phones weather app is is predicted to be still around 24 degrees when we get out of bingo. Thank you 😊
