The bridge in town should be opened back up within the next hour. MDOT is on their way to take the signs down.

Updated detour information.

Please do not attempt to go around the barricades. They are there for your safety. 

In the event of an emergency response, our mutual aid partners have been notified of the detour. We have staged fire apparatus on the south side of town at Thurston’s Outdoors. As always, this community is grateful for the Thurston Family’s continued support.

Your Tri-Twp FD has a standard operating procedure for this type of event. The last time that we activated this staging procedure, was back in 2020, when the dams broke in Midland County.
