THANK YOU so MUCH for being on this crazy journey with me for the second time! It has been one for the record books and I am ready to continue to do and be a part of the great work being done in D303! Thank you for trusting me with your votes and for scrolling to the bottom to find me in particular. In doing so, you showed a very CLEAR message that you want me here because so far, 6,797 of you sought me out on purpose! It is amazing to me that more than TWICE the number of people came out to vote for me compared to the my first election in 2021. That speaks volumes to me that the public feels I am doing the job on the board they voted me in to do and clearly 2x as many people showed up for me to make sure I stayed there! Thank you to each and every voter, a HUGE thank you to my hubby Scott who hates the limelight but stepped into it for me and my goals in keeping a promise to our son, my boys O & S who always give me strength each day, my FR mommas (you know who you are) who support me no matter what, my bestie Debbie and all my high school and college friends who have shared my posts and asked their STC friends to vote for me, my beyond AMAZING dear friend who is a very talented artist, local musician and all around GREAT guy Greg Hyde who helped me out by tweaking my 2021 campaign graphics for the 2025 election, the 2 new AWESOME incoming female board members Kim & Jenna for standing by my side through a very difficult and often times exhausting campaign, a special NEW friend who found ME named Katie Bell (yes, who knew there are 2 Kate Bells who serve on school boards not far from Chicago 😳) and last but certainly NOT least, ALL the D303 staff and kiddos asking me to do this crazy thing one last time. To all those who have them, please leave any campaign signs placed in your yard or at your business until we can pick them up. After the polls close, my family and I will head out to all the locations signs were placed to retrieve them. As I have always been the kind of person to recycle and reuse everything I can in order to not just decrease my own carbon footprint but also as a way to reuse anything I can. If I am re-elected, and decide to run again, I will reuse all of my signs I can. If I do not, I will recycle all the signs I have picked up. Thank you so much for being on this journey with me and only a few more minutes to wait! Thank you all for getting out and voting and getting as many people to the polls as possible. The time for change has come. Let’s do this!

Why should you vote for me today? I am willing to do what it takes to do better for D303 students. For me, that is what it is all about, the students. Without them, what are we all doing here? These are children, we must do better. We have to. They are counting on us. A vote to re-elect Kate Bell is a vote for students, accountability and data-driven, fully vetted spending. Today is the day!

Who would you be getting if you voted for me today? First and foremost, I’m a mom. Being a D303 board member, would open the door for me to continue to support all the D303 students as they were my own. I am a students first candidate and will always support ALL our students here in D303 with a strong voice and unwavering advocacy on the school board. What’s good for the students is good for the teachers and staff.

Second, my focus will be on accountability geared towards the superintendent, admin and every single dollar spent of tax payer monies. The board must make fully informed, data-driven decisions and hold all funded programs and stakeholders to accountability in their roles with every board decision from the number of students in every classroom to every single program and curriculum in D303.

This is Jennifer Adam, D303’s President of the Educators Association who endorsed me and not the other FAKE candidates from the FAKE flyers. It’s worth the watch. Do you truly want to leave the future of D303 up to the tiny percent of taxpayers who actually get out and vote? I hope you don’t because if you don’t vote, you will be paving the way for the lies and deceit that has happened in this campaign to win. PLEASE VOTE to Re-elect KATE BELL to D303 School Board. Don’t believe the FAKE flyers you have seen all over town, in neighborhoods, in mailboxes, at churches, put out with pictures of 4 candidates supposedly endorsed by the D303 educators. It is 100% FALSE. It is an unfortunate attempt to get “their” candidates in. I wish these did not get distributed because I feel it takes away from their message of fiscal responsibility.
