Government hall is a two-building complex located in the heart of town. Government offices and council chambers are in the main building; the municipal building includes meeting rooms.

Happy Labor Day Weekend to everyone. This is a message from Mayor Stuchell. Due to an electrical outage from a transformer that supplies 3 phase power to the pumps at the pool, we are forced to close the pool for the day. Duke Energy is responding but we do not have an exact time of restoration. The Aquatic Center should be open tomorrow but we will keep you updated. The pavilion will be open for those wishing to play pickleball that have a keycard.

Also, just a reminder that the Service Department and City Hall will be closed on Monday, September 7th in observance of the Labor Day holiday and there will be no trash collection. And you know the jingle, if you have normal Monday collection then your trash will be picked up on Tuesday and if your normal collection day is Tuesday then your trash will be picked up on Wednesday. Come on finish the rest for me, Thursday and Friday remain unchanged. Please help us keep the village looking nice and do not put your garbage out in advance of the adjusted collection times.
