These services are provided by Cape Leisure Corporation, a concessionaire under contract with the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection. We offer rentals of Single and Double Kayaks, and Stand Up Paddleboards. Anyone can participate in any of the watersport activities we offer. As a matter of fact, many
of our guests are beginners and Salt Run is an easy waterway to navigate. Our staff will ensure that you are familiar with the operation of your watercraft before you head out. At any point, you may experience a variety of crabs, fish, birds, and sea turtles. Our guests have even reported seeing an occasional dolphin or manatee. In order to rent a watercraft:
โข At least one person (in your group) renting any of our watercraft must be at least 18 years of age.
โข Watercraft and equipment rentals end one hour before closing. Closing times vary with the season.
โข Equipment is rented on a first come, first served basis.
โข Watercrafts rented from Anastasia Watersports must have a Type I, II, or III PFD (lifejacket). These are provided with your rental.
โข All children under the age of six must wear a PFD at all times while on the water. There is an admission fee to Anastasia State Park. Once you are through the gate, this fee gives you access to Anastasia Watersports, the Island Beach Shop & Grill, the beach and other park amenities.
$8.00 per vehicle. (Limit 2-8 people per vehicle).
$4.00 per single-occupant vehicle.
$2.00 per pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers or passengers holding an Annual Individual Entrance Pass. You should wear a bathing suit, hat, water-shoes, and anything else you feel comfortable wearing in the sun. Donโt forget to wear sunblock! We provide all the equipment you will need, including the watercraft, lifejacket and paddles. We recommend bringing a towel and a change of clothes if you are staying in the park.
