🎭🦁 HELP US RAISE THE CURTAIN AT HARTLEY! 🦁🎭
For the first time in more than a decade, musical theater is returning to W.D. Hartley Elementary! 💙💛
This December, more than 30 Hartley students will take the stage in Disney’s The Lion King KIDS — and for many of them, it will be their very first experience performing in a musical.
Thanks to the dedication of our amazing music teacher, Mrs. Molly Kirkpatrick, Hartley received a Disney grant covering the performance rights and scripts. Now, we need our Hartley community to help bring the rest of the production to life!
The Hartley PTO has launched a GoFundMe with a goal of $10,000 to help provide costumes, sets, props, microphones, sound equipment, and other production needs. Even better, whenever possible, these resources will become part of Hartley’s growing theater program so future generations of Hawks can take the stage, too. 🎶🎬
But this is about so much more than putting on a show.
It’s about giving our students the chance to find their voice, build confidence, discover new talents, work as a team, and experience the magic of creating something together.
