It is an honor to serve you in our nation’s oldest city and it would be my privilege to serve you for a fourth term. After two destructive hurricanes, an economic recession and now a pandemic, it is more clear than ever that the City needs experienced leadership.
My vision for the future of St. Augustine remains to further efforts to improve livability. I promise to continue to bring a balanced perspective on enhancing the quality of life for residents as well as protecting our authentic history. My experience as a City Commissioner includes:
- Championed the effort to preserve land for conservation and public benefit in multiple areas of the City including Robert B. Hayling Jr. Freedom Park (Riberia Point), Coquina Park (Davis Shores), and multiple treed areas in Lighthouse Park. Perhaps my greatest accomplishment was the over 12 year effort to prevent the development of Fish Island.
- Prioritized preventative flooding measures and resiliency efforts.
