..A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL FREMONT AND NORTHEASTERN
CLARK COUNTIES THROUGH 445 PM MDT...

At 400 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Island Park Reservoir, or 13 miles east of Idmon, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 35 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Henrys Lake, Island Park Village, Shotgun Village, Ponds Lodge, Macks Inn, Last Chance, Island Park Reservoir, Sheridan Reservoir, Big
Springs, Harriman State Park, Red Rock Pass, and Targhee Pass.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a Red Flag Warning for Saturday, June 20th from 6 am to 9 pm.

Open burning on private lands during this time period is prohibited.

Dry thunderstorms are expected during this warning. If you see a fire or smoke please call 911 to report it. Tell us your location, where the smoke or fire is at, smoke color, how large the flames are and if any structures are threatened or on fire.
