Today marks the end of an era as Chief Marc Gilbert officially retires from the St. Albans Police Department after more than 30 years of distinguished service to the citizens of our community.

Throughout his career, Chief Gilbert has exemplified integrity, professionalism, and an unwavering dedication to public safety. His leadership and commitment have left a lasting impact not only on the department he led, but on the countless lives he touched along the way.

On behalf of all who have had the privilege to serve alongside him or benefit from his service, we extend our deepest gratitude and best wishes. May this next chapter of life bring you the same fulfillment and purpose you so selflessly gave to others.

Thank you, Chief Gilbert.
