It’s finally pool time!

The St. Albans City Park Pool opens this weekend, May 30 and 31, from 11 AM to 6 PM.

We know everyone was ready to jump in over Memorial Day weekend, and we appreciate your patience through the delay. Now we’re ready to kick off summer the right way.

Bring the towels. Grab the sunscreen. Make the first pool weekend of the season a good one.

Pool passes, swim team, and swimming lessons information is coming soon.

The City of St. Albans will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, June 1, 2026, beginning at 6:00 PM at the McKinley Recreation Center Cafeteria, located at 3000 Kanawha Terrace.

The hearing will allow public comment regarding proposed ordinances related to water and sewer system improvements, rates, fees, charges, and related bond financing.

Supporting documents, including ordinance information, bond-related materials, and service maps, are available with the event listing.

St. Albans City offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day.

Trash pickup will run on an adjusted schedule for the week:

Monday, May 25: No pickup
Tuesday, May 26: Monday route
Wednesday, May 27: Tuesday route
Thursday, May 28: Wednesday route
Friday, May 29: Thursday route

There will be no extra pickup on Friday.
